The class plan:

  1. A bit on two quantitative variables.
  2. Sources of data.
  3. The readings on data.

Your assignment for this time:

  1. Do the reading.
  2. From last time. Create three data visualizations.

For Next Class:

  1. Reading: The readings and the textbook through Chapter 2.
  2. Deliverable: Find and document two sources for data. One that contains at least three qualitative variables and one with at least two quantitative variables of at least six variables [Assignment 7]. For reading for next time beyond the book, conduct a bit of research on each of Campbell’s Law and Goodhart’s Law; it will form a part of your assignment for next time in addition to the CDC guide to evaluation, if you have not already.
